The difference between school and life? In school you're taught a lesson and given a test. In Life you're given a test that teaches you a lesson. It's your choice to either
ignore it or learn from it. Ya dig? :) lolz anyway I'm a real down to earth chick, and I love the Lord!! I believe in living this life to the fullest and i'm learning to take everyday as what it is: a blessing :) Sure life throws a few punches, but I have someone in my corner at all times to put it back in it's place

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
When we’re talking about plans, the heart of the matter is always trust. Will you trust God when life doesn’t work out the way you want it to? I am convinced that most of life’s frustrations are really lessons in trusting God. If you read the Bible, it doesn’t take long to realize that God is big on trust.
To trust where we cannot trace God is the ultimate test of our willingness to follow Him. There are times in every believer’s life when God requires him to step out into the unknown—to take a leap of faith—to go out on a limb. Abraham faced a predicament like this when he was commanded by God to go to a foreign country leaving behind all the securities and familiarity his homeland had offered.
God rewarded Abraham for his faithfulness and made him the father of many nations.Today God is calling you to step out in faith and trust Him. Psalm 31:15 says, “My times are in your hands.” Rest assured that God has you in His hands and if you know Him as your Savior He won’t let go of you. Someone once said “To have a testimony you first need to have a test.” Don’t fear or shrink back from what God has appointed you to do. Today is the day of decision. God is asking you to believe that His power will equip you for what you are called to do.
The God who sees the beginning from the end, knows that this time of trusting Him in the midst of your doubts and fears is necessary preparation for upcoming blessings and the manifestation of His power. If He didn’t think you were ready He would not have chosen you.

Another Valentine’s has come and almost gone. I’ve been seeing a lot of post on Facebook and tumblr either praising the holiday or straight up downing it. Me myself, I’m teaching myself to enjoy everyday day the Master gives us. With that being said, I walked out into the world today in my red and pink fluffy outfit (decked out with hearts of course) and decided I was going to be everyone’s Valentine. It was a very successful day if I don’t say so myself. I got a lot of people to smile and joke around and not feel so bad. For a moment this gave me a view of our Savior’s idea of our life. He never wants to see us sad or downcast. He give us little blessings everyday, things that we can either take for granted or stop for a moment and say “Wow Lord, Thanks”. Even though you may not have a Valentines, we all have a love that is stronger then any love Man can give. We have a love that Gave their only son for our sake. Now that’s what I call a real gift!! So tumblr’s as this day comes to a close remember to take the time out to whisper sweet love words to our Master’s ear cause everything around us-the sun, trees,house we live in, food we eat and air we breathe, just every little thing we take for granted- are sweet serenades from him to us <3
Religion can be a MAJOR turn off. Trust I know. That may sound strange coming from a Christian, but it’s the truth. Honestly, I don’t really agree with it. Now hear me out for a sec. I go to church, I read my bible, pray, all that good stuff. But while doing that there’s also one major thing I try my hardest to do…that’s maintain a relationship with Jesus. That’s really what it’s all about. Religion has people all confused about what being a christian really about. It’s makes people turn and run the other way…who what’s to be told that they have to do things a certain exact way or go to hell? I mean any person can follow steps, but if your heart really isn’t in it and you aren’t growing closer to God, then what you’re doing is in vain. Religion is a man made thing. It’s says in Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” I feel that as Christian we need to try our best not to get forget what our job is…to be more Christ like and draw others to HIM. I’m not speaking bad to those who do follow closely to religion because it’s not my place to judge but for me religion itself won’t keep us saved or growing in the Lord. Only getting to know God for yourself with a sincere heart can.
